Mitchell Alkon brings more than 25 years’ experience to all aspects of residential and commercial real estate and business matters. He provides counsel and expertise in: real estate, contracts and leases, the sale of businesses and business interests, buy-sell and joint ownership agreements, intra-family buyouts, financing and security, and conducting real estate closings. Representative clients include developers, commercial landlords, small businesses, contractors, real estate investors and brokers, and professionals such as physicians, dentists and architects.

Mr. Alkon is an approved attorney for a national title insurance company, and a title agent in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. This allows him to provide a full range of services to clients in real estate and financing transactions.

Mr. Alkon also has experience in disputes involving trusts and estates. He has been appointed by local courts to serve as fiduciary and has served as personal representative, trustee, guardian and in other fiduciary capacities. Working with the firm’s estate and trust attorneys, Mr. Alkon’s background makes him especially well suited to represent clients in fiduciary claims involving real estate and business interests.

The father of six children, Mr. Alkon spends most of his weekends on soccer fields throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
