Lucy E. Nichols

Lucy Nichols works in all aspects of divorce and family law. She has extensive experience in litigation as well as the negotiation and settlement of family matters. She has handled complex custody and visitation challenges, disputes relating to parental fitness, parental relocation, parental kidnapping and same-sex custody.
Trained in collaborative law, Ms. Nichols offers her clients an alternative to litigation, helping to resolve highly emotional issues in a fair, constructive and dignified manner.
Ms. Nichols was raised in Northern Virginia. Before returning to the Washington area to join Pasternak & Fidis in 2005, she spent over 14 years building a successful family law practice in Richmond, Virginia. She has temporarily put aside her hobby of scuba diving to raise her daughter.
